Ever see a crab with a shell like strawberries? It must not ever do you? Now this rare two tailed crabs found in Taiwan.
Both are true crabs have been found since June 2009 earlier in the Kenting National Park, Taiwan. At that time, Ho and his team are doing a study on the impact on marine life shipwreck. According to Ho, the southern coast of Kenting National Park is known as an area rich in diverse marine creatures.
Ho takes long enough to determine that the species had found a new species of crab. After analyzing approximately 10 000 species of crabs, then Ho is sure to announce that the invention is at least a new species of crab. Thus the quoted statement from Discovery, Wednesday (06/01/2010).
When you first see it, everyone will be impressed with the crab shells. If in general the red crab shell looks smooth, not so with this new crab species. On a bright red shell scattered small spots of white colored, strawberry-like fruit. Appearances like this then make it known crab crab strawberries.
Ho and his team from National Taiwan Ocean University mentions strawberry crab species generally live in waters of Hawaii, Polynesia and Mauritius. But the crabs are found a little different because it has a shape like a clam shell and the width approximately 2.5 cm.
