Microsoft Xbox 360 in Europe for $ 99

Microsoft is considering plan to bring the Xbox 360 grant, which is available in the U.S., to Europe. The head of the division in the old continent is watching the development of the offer with "interest" as it would be "very popular" in this territory.

The Redmond giant decided to endorse in May traditionally a strategy used by operators and phone manufacturers to distribute their devices. Decided to subsidize the console in exchange for a commitment to stay in the online service Xbox Live.

Thus, in the United States can purchase the Xbox 360 model with 4Gb Kinect to $ 99, with a commitment to purchase a subscription to the online payment service for two years for $ 14.95 a month.

The strategy must be working well, as Microsoft has expanded the availability of the offer that was initially only available in their stores and then went to Gamestop and BestBuy. Now, it seems that European leaders are those who are interested in this distribution model.

The Head of Xbox Europe, Chris Lewis, said in VG24 / 7 who is watching the U.S. case "with interest", as it believes that in Europe this sales model would be "very popular".

"We want to offer flexibility of choice, making this type of offer is available for those who want to eat this way," said Lewis, but without specifying any concrete plans or release dates.

Users of Nexus S were surprised when we told the official OTA update would arrive in mid-July with the release of version 4.1 of Android , being the first devices to be updated, but we are still waiting for that update reaches us.

Now, you can "taste" in advance of the new version of Android through the work of the community, and that is if it is not an official ROM, far end, and there are still many things to polish, at least the more impatient will be watching and all that Jelly Bean has prepared for them.

The method of installation is like any other ROM, so if you have never done I strongly recommend you follow this tutorial .

In our case, just download it from this thread on XDA ROM itself and the latest service packs that have been published, the latest version is now the SP4 - and follow the steps in the tutorial above, namely:

1. Unlock the bootloader
2. Fastboot flash the recovery from
3. Make a complete wipe from the recovery
4. Flashing the ROM and after the service pack from the recovery

Good luck to all that you have tried it and do not be guided much by the performance because it is a port that combines parts of the ROM released for the Galaxy Nexus and Android SDK itself, so it is expected to official version goes far "fine".

"The user can move the camera phone or tablet at will and get the ship to move with him," said Kevin Hussey's Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA.

Scientists hope that this application allows to know the complexity of spacecraft both among experts and amateurs to space research. This development allows anyone to see parts of space ships transiting the space agency.

Stephen Kulczycky, NASA spokesman, said that with the application and a mobile device "you can put in the hands of any three-dimensional models of HD." It has also recognized that it is a "super" form of studying a ship in 3D space agency.

Nao, Got The First Robot Emotions

The first robot that is able to develop emotionally and form bonds with humans has been introduced by scientists, according to the Daily Mail reports.

Nao is designed to mimic the emotional skills of a child one year and be able to form bonds with people who treat her well.

The robot was developed to recognize the same kind of expressive gestures and behaviors that are used in infants to study the social and emotional interaction with others.

So that the robot can detect human emotion by studying body language and facial expression, and become better at reading a person's mood over time as growing to 'know' that person.

Nao also able to recall interactions with different people and remember their faces.

Nao created through the modeling process, initial attachment that humans and chimpanzees babies when they were very young.

Nao was part of the European project called Growing Feelix, which was led by Lola Canamero, computer scientists from the University of Hertfordshire.

"This behavior is similar to what young children do," said Dr Cañamero. "The behavior was also similar to the way chimpanzees and other non-human primates develop affective ties with their caregivers."

Nao programmed to attach to an individual who interacts with the robot in a way that helped him to learn.

Nao so capable of expressing anger, fear, sadness, happiness, joy and pride and anger if people are not comfortable or dealing with stressful situations when human beings can not be overcome.

Nao brain lets remember good or bad experiences from the past.

"We're working on non-verbal cues, and emotions expressed through physical postures, gestures and body movements of the facial or verbal expression," said Dr Cañamero.

Scientists believe that robots like Nao can be used in future to provide care to the elderly.

The project is a collaboration between eight universities and robotics companies in the EU.

Battery that generating energy when you shake it

A Japanese electronics company sourced a vibration generator that can replace the standard battery.

Brother Industries, better known as the typewriter products, claimed this tool can replace the role of AA or AAA batteries for sjeumlah usage.

At an event in Tokyo, this tool switch Brothers shows a remote control (remote control), a button to turn on the lights and LED flashlight sbeuah.

The mechanism works similarly to a bicycle dynamo, only difference with whipped several times a direct electrical power generated.

"Vibration Energy Battery Cells we create electric power with the introduction of a spring, magnet, and the condenser which produces electricity. All this is in in the battery," a spokesman told BBC News Brother.

"Because the power produced by only a little then this tool is designed for use on devices like TV remote and LED devices, which only require low power and electrical power do not eat constantly."
Shake energy

The idea behind this technology is the need to replace the use of batteries that contain toxins that harm the environment.

So far two new AA size model products generate voltages elbih at 3.2 V or lower, just enough to fill the electrical power tools such as remote control.

Yet according to Carl Telford, an analyst at consulting firm Strategic Business Insights, says this battery is a potential breakthrough.

"That was great because if you need AA batteries for electric power is shaken; eg for remote control," he added on BBC News.

"The size is too small, dense, and can be directly used on the electricity resources that we know. Brother says this tool can generate electric power at low frequencies, skeitar 4-8Hz - is impressive."

"If you walk with this tool in the bag it will produce vibrations with a frequency of about 2Hz. You do have to shuffle the tool is on loud, but can lah."

While other companies are also pursuing a target to find the source of a new battery without charge standard.

U.S. Companies Inc. TenXsys. Kinetic Energy is currently developing technology for these devices, including scavenging for military equipment.

While the UK mobile company Orange has recently revealed its newest product Power Wellies, are made with the cooperation with renewable energy experts GotWind.

Nintendo Wii 2 Not With 3D

We are hearing reports today that the next generation Nintendo Wii console will not offer 3D gaming like previously thought.
The reason for this is that not enough people have 3D TV's in their home which makes it a less viable idea. Also we hear that a successor to the Wii is not coming any time soon which could indicate we wont see it for at least another couple of years. We also have yet to hear of a PS4 or next gen Xbox 360 2 (or 720 as some refer to it as).

Although Nintendo do say it will be some time before a Wii 2 arrives, they said that it will arrive eventually at some point.

Back last month Nintendo, or someone at Nintendo had made a comment that the Wii would not get an update to 3D but the Wii 2 could be 3D although at the time they specifically mentioned they would look for a 30% adoption rate for 3D TV's before it became viable. Perhaps today's statement is just echoing what has been said already in some ways.

"If you display a 3D image, the image quality becomes extremely bad, so we'd probably do it with the next system...We're thinking that the timing should be once the 3D television adoption rates crosses the 30% mark. We're looking at the adoption trends."
