There are many reasons a search may not return the results you'd like. Here are a few suggestions for improving your results:
- Make sure that you spell search words correctly. Remember to leave a space between each word in your query. For more information about how to search effectively, see Search effectively.
- If your search includes a date, type the name of the month instead of the calendar number.
- Use a specific keyword to get specific results. For example, to find a definition, type define ordefinition, and then type the word that you want to define. For more keyword searches, seeAdvanced search keywords.
- The website that you're searching for might not be in the Bing index yet. A website or resource must be in the Bing index to appear in Bing results. The Bing index is constantly updated. Wait a few days, and then try the search again.
- If you own your own website and it isn't returned in search results, see the Bing Site Owner Help for information about how to add your website to the Bing index.
