Fujifilm have been very quiet since they announced the FinePix Real 3D camera, but the September release is closing in fast and as you would imagine, more details are now starting to surface. This twin-lensed camera is certain to get great interest, Time.com have been taking a closer look.
We know that the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D camera will retail for around $600, but the high price is not the only thing that will put potential buyers off. If you wish to view the images properly, then you are going to have to pay for special prints with a plastic lenticular lens on it, or you will have to purchase a special stereoscopic LCD photo frame.
There seems to be a pattern emerging here, nothing is going to be cheap to appreciate this camera. Engadget believes that you should save your money and get yourself a good DSLR, or maybe even an Olympus E-P1. Are the public ready for the expense of 3D snapshots in this current financial climate?
